Discussion What is your earliest roleplay memory?

A place to talk through and discuss our thoughts
Soooooooo, I'm 28 now and I started when I was 12, on this RP forum for a child novel series called Warriors. This is about cats, wild cats that live in four separate clans. You follow this ginger kitten who runs away from home and joins ThunderClan and became Firepaw, he starts off as an apprentice and eventually becomes a Warrior and renamed Fireheart. The series is 6 books and lots of stuff goes down. By the end when I stopped reading those, they had 2 more sequel series and yadda yadda yadda. Who knows how much has been made since.

Ok going back to the Forum, you made your OC cat and you joined a clan. The clan leaders were moderators and they would promote you based on your growth in your writing, grammar, and descriptiveness in your adventures. This really helped me become the writer I am today believe it or not.

Obviously, I got older--outgrowing the whole cat thing and you know that teen angst couples well with smut, so AHEM, I was underaged at the time but I joined adult RP forums and got my freak on for several years. RP led me to write my own novels and I have 3... "4" series in the making but sadly I'm super critical of my own work so it's really hard for me to sit down and just tell my characters what they're doing instead of letting them run my book. You know how it goes lolz

My first RP memory, I started roleplaying back in 97, on Battle.Net when Starcraft and Brood Wars were getting big. I started in those chat rooms, and I started my RP Adventures as Trunks3D (Didn't even have a proper name) and I did some random offshoot DBZ RP's.

I evolved eventually, into server wars, leading a family (The Splitzer Familia, shows how long I've had the Splitzer name, since like, late late 90's) in RP Wars against families across servers. The golden days. I had a Wife, Brother, Kids, it was glorious.

My eariest roleplaying memory might ahve been on neopets, lots of wolf rps and creature egg choosing rps I think were the most popular ones that I can recall.

My first foray into RPing was in middle school, on a Bionicle fan forum called BZPower. I was just starting out with writing as a hobby when I came across a little something in the Lego RP section: the Dino Attack RPG.

As a kid who was obsessed with dinosaurs, I had fond memories of the Dino Attack line (however I only ever owned one set). So I lurked for a little while before deciding to throw my hat into the arena. The plot was gearing up for fighting Mutant Dinos and other beasties in a viking realm, and my character was going to be deployed into it.

My first roleplay memory was probably with my self insert werewolf girl on deviantart. I roleplayed in the notes with someone when I was 12. I was definitely apart of the anime girl profile pic and wolf image found on google.
then, I got into MLP FIM (as the target audience) and roleplayed as my favorite pony on facebook (but she was a goth version LOL) before facebook banned roleplay accounts.

I definitely have a lot of good memories but bad ones since I started at a young age.
