Hey,
I'm Solaris, feel free to shorten that in whatever way your heart desires. I haven't made an introduction thread in three years and then another three years before that, so this might be a proper mess. Out of practise and all that. I'm a 20-something living on the west side of America. I have a cat I adore too much and I wish I had a dog. I like art a lot and have recently been focusing a lot of my effort into that. Alas, perfectionism means I'm rarely satisfied enough with anything I make to share it. Other funtime hobbies include writing, gaming, and gardening. I like fancy card decks and my current fan interests of the moment are Netflix's Castlevania and a returned love of Dishonored.
And roleplaying. I've been roleplaying nearly all of my life and forum rping for just shy of a decade. I love worldbuilding and like to do so both solo and collaboratively. However, the heart of RP for me is definitely in the characters and their development. I have a penchant for morally grey or conflicted characters, but it's rare for me to find archetypes I outright don't like. Similarly, I'm fond of a great many genres and themes, however, fantasy will always have a piece of my heart that the others don't. Childhood dreams and all that. I enjoy both groups and 1x1s and would love to get back into GMing.
Cheers!
