Many of us have been quarantining at home for the past few months due to the current coronavirus pandemic. For our generation, this is unprecendented and has left a lot of us stress, confused, lost, or (perhaps less tragically) bored as fuck while we're waiting for the world to return to some shadow of normal.
So what have you all been up to during quarantine? Has anything positive come out of this for you? (Have you learned a new skill, written more, read more, cleaned more, whatever.)
For me, I learned how to make lotion bars. I read a book. I have completed four video games and am working on my fifth. I've been working on getting my writing back to an acceptable level (I had been going through a deep depression months before this pandemic even was a thing so you can imagine how staying home for two months has affected my will to write). I've crocheted stuff. I started learning the basics of Python coding.
I guess all that isn't too bad.
So tell me, what have you been up to? And hey, if you wanna just use this thread to vent, that's okay too. I think we all need a little of that right now.
