If this is in the wrong place, please move my post to another area. I found maybe 3 areas this could have been posted and decided this was the safest bet.

Now, I do this from my phone. The bbcode I use doesn't seem to be fully compatible with the mobile format on this site. It's nothing complex. Just centering, spoilers, etc. but I seem to keep ending up with normal fonts when I try for bold, underline, etc., but most annoyingly, I have double spoilers where I don't want them (2x spoilers for a single plot summary.) The "rich editor" seems to think that it knows better what I want than I do.

Thought I'd ask for help here. Do I need to use a PC?

BBcode is compatible with the mobile version of the site, but the RTE is a touchy beast, particularly when you attempt to use a lot of coding that you do not write out manually. Oftentimes it will get confused and insert/take out coding it thinks you need. The RTE is like the autocorrect on a particularly finicky phone.

Some solutions:

1. Do not insert code until you finish writing out your entire post. This will ensure code is applied only to what you highlight (the RTE will always try to apply coding to what is written after something is applied because it thinks you want that).

2. Use the BBCode editor instead of the RTE. This gives you a blank text box so you can write code manually. To use the BBCode editor, click on "View" in the textbox menu and select it to switch.

We have many users who mainly use mobile to access and use the site (I myself use mobile 80% of the time).

I will go ahead and look at your code and manually fix it for now. Please feel free to ask if you have more questions once I'm done fiddling.

Edit: After looking at your code, my impression is that it isn't which codes you're using, it's the amount of coding you're attempting to use inside of the spoiler tags that is causing the issues. The spoiler tag, from my understanding, was originally designed with the intention of holding simple bits of information and less so entire visually compelling posts like what you have created. It's absolutely doable, it just takes some careful manual coding to ensure the site doesn't get confused. It'll take me a bit more time to clean up the code than originally anticipated, but hey, I'm not doing anything tonight. I'll do my best to fix the issue for you while maintaining the awesome structure you've created for your post. :)

Update:

I re-wrote your entire RT from scratch. I did have to simplify a few aspects of it (mainly I removed all of the indentations and kept everything to a center alignment). Despite this, I maintained the rest of your RT and (hopefully) put in all of the proper colors/boldings/etc. you originally wanted.

Hopefully this looks how you wanted (or close to it). Please feel free to let me know if you have any further issues and I'd be happy to help.
 
It's been killing me that I haven't been able to reply (phone was just about dead) but that was really nice of you! Appreciated :) but really, you didn't have to do that.
