Sup. I'm Phantom. I'm a 30-year-old disabled man living in upstate New York. (I'm obligated by state mandate to mention I'm from here.) I started role-playing online when I was 12 years old for all the wrong reasons on all the wrong chat rooms. Eventually started doing it for more acceptable reasons on NeoPets, then GaiaOnline, then Dungeons & Dragons, and other less reputable venues.

From kindergarten, all the way up to my early 20's I worked on becoming an actor even going so far as to do work in NYC with consistency. I utilized classical acting since I grew up/studied in Europe and found most Method acting utterly intolerable because of it. I also studied stand-up comedy at the Manhattan School and improv The People's Improv Theatre. Unfortunately, I had to give all that up when my mental health started to rapidly deteriorate in 2011.

My medical history is granular, complicated, and extraordinarily depressing. IF you want to know more feel free to ask, I'm an open book but if I laid out the entirety of the details here it would derail everything.

As far as other interests go, I have loved video games since I got my first Gameboy pocket with Pokémon Red. Squirtle was my starter. I am exclusively a PC gamer but ya know, not like that. You know exactly what I mean. I have 219 items in my Steam library as of right now and am deeply ashamed of how few of those games I've actually played especially considering I have 4k+ hours logged into Skyrim between the two editions. Curse you Todd. Curse you. This image should tell you exactly what kind of shameful creature I am.

If I could do anything with my life, I'd want to build a modest benign cult. Maybe live on a farming compound growing cannabis (legal in NYS) and practicing esoteric spirituality. I am completely serious and sincere. Nothing invasive or morally questionable just delightfully eccentric.

My grammar and spelling are atrocious, so I put everything through Word and Grammarly. I look forward to engaging in the depravity of untold sins with some of you. :emoji_jack_o_lantern:

A state mandate to identify that you're an (upstate) new yorker... I've never heard of such a thing. But I suppose I shouldn't be surprised, considering the other things I've heard about NY, particularly in the last two years. Does it have something to do with any peculiar laws NYS has around internet communication that other 1st world places don't have?
