Oop, forgot.

@FrostStorm Where did you get your URL? What's your favorite sort of genre to write in? If you could have any sort of mount from any point in time, genre, or video game, what would it be (aside from, obviously, a dragon)?
I'm offended you forgot me. Haha Jk jk.

Uhhh soo many questions at once!

My URL? Well... I've been roleplaying as FrostStorm since I was 10 years old it kind of just... Popped in my head. I had created a dragon roleplay and I was an Ice dragon that could control storms at her will and I just..Boom FrostStorm was born.

My absolute favorite genre is fantasy. There's absolutely no limits to it and I create anything I want.

ANY mount? I'd choose pegasus. Cause you can fekkin' fly on them like dragons but at the same time you don't have to worry about getting burned to a crisp if you piss them off

Oh! AMA

@Nyctibius, What's the thing you look forward to the most when logging onto this site? Besides Owls and the Great Potoo what is your favorite animal? What's your longest standing roleplay? And what's your favorite/most developed character?

Just what's new, really. New replies, new threads, new users, new anything. Seeing alerts and DMs and stuff is super neat. I think, then, what I look forward to most is being in a community that feels like home to me. No lie, if I could, I'd have a whole housing area with just Umbrals in there. Or an apartment building, or a condo, or whatever.

Puffins and emus are close seconds. I really adore animals that are inherently just kind of ridiculous and unusual. Potoos are like owls and hawks had a baby but something Went Very Wrong, puffins are like toucans and penguins had an even more useless baby, and emus? Well, we all know emus defeated Australia in open combat once. How do you not love something so absurd?

I've got two. One is a fandom-centric RP I've had going since middle school, with a fairly fleshed-out world and elaborate RP scenarios that "fix" certain problems with stories me and the other person otherwise like. The idea is that there's this sort of group that oversees worlds and stuff, and sometimes if a world gets too off-balance it has to be 'fixed', or in extreme cases cut off from its creator entirely and allowed to flourish on its own. It's a lot of abstracts that come together to form a cohesive whole, so therefore hard to fully explain. Plus, it's dorky as shit.
The other one is an rp that's been going about, eh. Six, seven years now? @Ruby and I started it on another site, then fell out of contact for a while, and now we're at it again. I guess realistically it's only about a year or so old in actual action, but since it was started, stopped, and is started again I think it counts. This one is more fully original, and deals with demigods and such. Very good shit.

My most developed characters are ones I have reserved for the book I'm writing. There's one guy I like to use called Theo Wake, part of the RP with Ruby and myself, who is my second-oldest character ever. He's a demigod, the son of Athena, and a bit of a badass with a temper. The oldest is an elf named Matteo who is, in a word, apeshit. I'd gladly tell you more about either of them but this answer would get way too long.

Spaghetti. It can be made so many different ways, with so many different types of sauce and noodles, I'd never really get bored of it. If I had to pick one TYPE of spaghet... probably something with traditional noodles, marinara sauce, and a nice, chunky, spicy meat to go with it. I like my spaghetti saucy and meaty. God, my mouth is watering just thinking about it. It's possible I'm just freaking starving.

Now this, this is a question I have always struggled to answer. I think the broadest answer I could get away with is 'some form of entertainment'. Books are nice, having a library there would be ideal, but I know I have to narrow it down. I guess if I really had to pick I'd say a laptop with unlimited power and a hard drive full of different games and books. Maybe that's cheating, but boredom is the worst possible thing I could imagine being stuck with.

Either that, or Nev. I think it might actually be nice to be out there with him and nothing else.

AWWWWWWWWWWW

My heart. She swoons. That's so sweeeet!!! <33333

@Nevermind I'm a huge film buff. So I'm curious now. What are my delicious admins favorite movies. Specifically, what are your favorite horror, comedy and action movies?

Hmmmm, as much as I love movies, this is definitely a difficult question to answer. I always have a list of what my favorite movies are, generally speaking, but rarely do I break stuff down by genre. I typically just like what I like. I will do my best to answer, however.

Horror - Truthfully, I didn't really start getting into this genre until my late twenties. Not because I ever had a problem with it or was afraid, but because most of the horror movies I saw growing up were always cheesy and laughable, and so that's just what I always thought horror was. It wasn't until later on I learned that horror can be incredibly entertaining, clever, and intriguing. I'd say my current favorites are all really new things? Hereditary, Get Out (although whether this is "horror" or more just "thriller" is absolutely debatable). I thought The Devils was damn whackadoodle, though again I question whether it is actually horror. Also a fan of Silence of the Lambs, though this answer is telling me I think I just prefer thrillers over horror? Hm.

Comedy - Easy. Monty Python and the Holy Grail. No contest. The first time I saw it I was fucking changed as a human being. Clue is also one that always makes me giggle.

Action - Not a huge action fan, though I do like superhero movies which I suppose count? Not into stuff like the James Bond or Mission Impossible franchises, but superhero stuff is always fun. The Dark Knight, Thor: Ragnarok, and Doctor Strange are my personal favorites.

Favorite films of mine that do not fit into the specified categories: Pan's Labyrinth, 500 Days of Summer, Amelie, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, Little Miss Sunshine, V for Vendetta, Dial M for Murder, and pretty much anything starring Leonardo DiCaprio.

Nyco and Nev: If you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would you choose?

This will make Nyco gag five ways to Sunday, but sushi. I. Love. Sushi. I would eat it every single day if it weren't so expensive.

@Nevermind What's you're favorite mythological animal? And why?

Hmmmm, this is an excellent question. I think I'm particularly fond of sphinxes, they're tricky and riddly and fun. I tend to be quite fond of anything that tries to mess with humans in some way.

Okay, time to return the favor!

@Lo Do you have a favorite word? If so, what is it and why?

@Sunshine Kitti What is a movie that everyone loves but you dislike?

@Nytera What is your favorite TV show from childhood?

@FrostStorm If you could trade places with one person for a day, who would it be?

@Nyctibius What is a skill you admire in others but don't wish for yourself?

If I could trade places with someone for a day?? I would definitely switch places with my best friend. My reason? She gets the chance to experience highschool and I don't

@Nevermind well that depends on how far you go back. I would say though that one of the first ones to come to mind is Power Rangers.

Hey, Sushi is gosh darned incredible!

@Sunshine Kitti What is a movie that everyone loves but you dislike?

Hmm.... What is my guilty pleasure movie? Honestly, I'm not a huge movie watcher, so I try not to go out of my way to watch ones that aren't at least liked well? I think Frozen might fall into that category? People seem to hate it, but I will belt out every song from it every time. I mean even I hate it sometimes. There's so much wrong with it. But also like, the second one is about to be absolutely fantastic, so.

@Nytera what has been your favorite RP story you've participated in to date?

@FrostStorm If you could live in a video game universe, which would you choose? Would you be the hero or the villain?

@Nyctibius What is a skill you admire in others but don't wish for yourself?

Scott Pilgrim is an action flick, for the record. One of the best goddamn action flicks ever. But it's also sort of a superhero movie so there you go.

That said... hmm. That's a good question. I'm a practical sort of person, so usually when I admire a skill it's because it's something I can or wish to do. Otherwise I tend to think of it as pointless. Like... I guess I appreciate farmers and people who provide food for the masses, since they keep us, y'know, fed, but I would never want to BE a farmer. But otherwise, some things I can think of just feel utterly pointless.

Maybe I'm not pragmatic so much as just a dick.

@Sunshine Kitti
My favorite was probably a story with a demon character I made several years ago in a post Apocolypitic world. It was gritty and action packed while still having a healthy dose of romance. :)

@ReireitheSmileFaerie if you had to live on a deserted island stranded from society, but were allowed to take 5 things with you what would you take and why? Also, saying something like your house would result in the shell of your house with walls no appliances or other objects in your house.
I'm assuming everything I would need to survive would be there already? Because if not - survival stuff + Jam.

Not survival stuff -
I'd still bring Jam. If I didn't have the spouse I would 100% die - not even of loneliness (because that too) but because I am a USELESS person when it comes to taking care of myself - but if Jam tells me to do something I'll do it because I love them LMAO.
Herbert (my best frog friend). Laptop or cellphone. Some sort of generator, uhhhh... shit. idk. a flash drive full of anime to watch maybe?

I'd definitely die on a desert island. 100% So. There's at least that lmao.

Uhhhhh....

@Nytera @Genak @Sunshine Kitti @Dao Ma

What are all y'alls current favorite songs?

Just poppin' in to officially declare myself a potential askee, so, "Ask me (almost) anything."

I cant answer that, lol. It changes according to my mood.

@ReireitheSmileFaerie wow, not sure your survival would go for long, that generator would need fuel. Favorite song... hmmm.... Ode to Joy, it is soothing, no words to screw it up.
I TOLD you I'd die.

I opened RIGHT up with my eminent demise. There wasn't any hiding things with me, lmao!
