neither here nor there.
Hello, Umbranites! I thought it would be fun to create a little AMA thread for the community. Asking one another questions is a fun way to get to know one another, so... why the hell not?! I am happy to be the first guinea pig in this fun lil' experiment.

First, some rules:

1. Anyone can participate, either as the asker or askee. If you're open to being an askee, simply post to this thread, "Ask me (almost) anything."

2. Askers can ask any question to anyone who has posted saying they want to be an askee EXCEPT questions that may reveal private information (legal names, where someone lives, et cetera).

3. Askees have the ability to reject any question for any reason. This is thread is just for fun, it is not intended to make anyone uncomfortable. If someone rejects a question, respect their decision and move on.

4. Be sure to tag the person you're asking so they know you're questioning them directly. If you answer a question, either quote or tag the asker.

All right, loves. Let's get this chaos started. Ask me (almost) anything!

I would cry, tbh. But It's actually something that's happened before. I get that people enjoy what they enjoy and a few friends have told me they're sorry but the frogs just taste like everything a chicken wing should.

So I get a little sad, but it doesn't last too long. I just try not to be around when it's going on?

And I can only hope the frog gets a last laugh by having a fly in that soup.

@Genak What got you into roleplaying?

@Genak What got you into roleplaying?

Hmmm, well that is quite an involved question honestly.

I have always had an active and vivid imagination, like I would imagine Megazords and Kaiju outside during car trips, I used to imagine classrooms were waterworlds and the desks were islands.

So when RPG video games came into play and choose your own adventure books I got involved in them. I used to fall asleep dreaming that I was a part of the X-Men.

I have been playing MMO's since WOW came out and action adventure RPG's since before that, even WWE games that were RPG's.

A few years back I got into chat based roleplaying, but found it unsatisfying and then I found the now defunct Guilty Pleasures. Since then I have been loving it, for the most part.

Neeevvvvv! What inspired your username?

I've been using Nevermind for so long I can't say with absolute certainty, but I'm like 95% sure I got the name from Nirvana's 1991 album Nevermind. And considering I was such an edgy grungy cool kind in the early 2000s when I began roleplaying, it seems to be the most likely answer. "Nevermind" is just a weird but not too weird username that always seemed to fit me even when the reasoning for why I chose it faded into memory.

@ReireitheSmileFaerie If you had to pick an animal to be your favorite after the frog, what animal would you pick and why?

Oooh~! Nice question!

Hmm. I thiiinnkkk I'd have to say sheep/lambs. I'm v sentimental and have more stuffed animals than I should, and the top three I have in terms of quantity are Frogs, Sheep, and Pandas.

@Genak What is your favorite season and why?

@Nevermind What is your favorite way to relax?

@Genak
You will be known to me as Mr Bat, which makes me wonder, which is your favorite Batman comic/series (if you read the comics)

@ReireitheSmileFaerie
I have a ton of stuffed animals too lol. Do you have a specific one that's really special to you?

AM(A)A!
Yah!!! Outside of Herbert, who I've talked about in the smile compendium - this is baby hugginz baby lamb. She started out just being called Hugginz. Then she got the full title. Jam puts her in my work bag every day and every day they ask me how her day at work was and if I helped her do her job.

Sometimes they make her "baa" and communicate only in baas... and I have to try to translate. She means a lot to me.

She has stars on her feet and in her ears, and I have another lamb just like her that's like... 4 times her size that was part of a story about Jam and my engagement ring. That lamb is aptly named Bigginz.

@Genak who is your favorite actor to ever put on the batsuit? Also, who's your favorite dark knight villain?

@ReireitheSmileFaerie have you ever licked toad to get high?

@Nevermind what are some things which inspire you to write and help keep those creative juices flowing? Music? Films? Novels? Other? Specifics would be lovely.

And I'm a pretty open book so AMA.
Michael Keaton is by far and wide my favorite Batman and Catwoman, a la Michelle Pfieffer, is my favorite villainess.

@Sunshine Kitti omg that is such a hard question because I love desserts and sweets. I think my favorite dessert would be a dark chocolate brownie. I'm really sitting here thinking about if I had a dessert that was a go-to that I could just continuously eat, I think it would be dark chocolate brownies. But it's a hard tossup between that and a series of other pastries. I am a pastry fiend lol.

In return, what is your favorite color and do you have an item of that color?

@Nyctibius HRRRG that's difficult. I like a lot of action movies, even if they're just plain bad lol. Like I used to be a huge fan of Jean Claude Van Damme and Bloodsport was one of my Go-To's. I'd say Italian Job but that's more of a crime niche movie instead of action movie. I also like Jason Statham a lot so I like his movies too. Errr that's not answering the question... I'll have to get back yto you on this i'm having a brain fart holy shit i can't think of movie names and i'm gonna cry lol.

What is the most satisfying non-musical sound to you? Besides Nev's voice, of course.

AM(A)A

edit;; Frost, I'll getchu next round!

@Nyctibius What's your ABSOLUTE favorite genre to write/read?

Ah, man, good one. Honestly it boils down to what I'm feeling the most in the moment, but I think it's almost always going to land somewhere between sci-fi and fantasy for me. That's why I added the science-fantasy tag on the site after discussing it with Nevermind, because I truly feel like that's a genre onto itself. Stuff like Final Fantasy that blends scientific technology with magical power is just too cool for me to not love it.

What is the most satisfying non-musical sound to you? Besides Nev's voice, of course.

Cheeky.

The most satisfying non-musical sound is a tossup between the noises owls make, like, all of them, or the cry of the great potoo. Google that last one if you never have. Sounds like a fat incel screaming for his mom.
