Yeah, DMs probably would work best for direct plotting with Easton.

Otherwise, what's here so far:

@baman begins
Odette: Yup, mafia family driver works fine. He could've picked her up from a few hits in the past maybe, or acted as the get-away car. Maybe he really helped her out on one of the close calls and so she started to request him more and more. (like you said, sending texts to pick her up and so on). I'm fine with him being there for those plot points like the hands because that gives them more depth to work with, when otherwise it'd just be a rando-driver who isn't part of the plot.

@Candi Cosmo
Decca: They definitely could be smoking and drinking buddies. How about they met cuz one of them ran out of cigarettes, or their lighter died, and the other one offered an entire pack or lighter for the person to just take cuz they have so many. After that, they could've gone drinking. Decca might have even known who Easton was before he knew her, because she might've known he worked as Odette's driver... IN FACT maybe Decca purposefully got closer to Easton for the sole reason to try and find stuff out about Odette at some point. Of course, any actual seduction would've failed though cuz he gay.

===

Generally, Easton can be found in some sort of large concrete garage/warehouse - modifying his vehicles while listening to way-too-loud-ear-deafening music. He also goes on runs to pick up supplies/parts for his work, and recreational-wise crawls the downtown bars which usually end up in tattoo parlors where he adds a new tattoo while high/druuuunk.

Sometimes, probably around 3-4am if he doesn't have any jobs to do, he can be found in his garage/warehouse, way too high and probably manically installing and working with heavy machinery, chemicals, etc. This has to be probably the best time to ask him for a favor... if he remembers agreeing after he comes down.

When he's on a job, he's the opposite: He's super chill, just hangs out either in the driver's seat or around the driver's side of the car while smoking and reading - he'll read paperbacks and magazines so he is able to fold it around and use one hand. He doesn't drink or use drugs when he knows a job is coming up, as he likes to drive sober if it can be helped (sometimes emergencies happen though and it can't, so he does have experience driving while intoxicated and for those who have been in the car with him for that.... they probably have some form of PTSD when getting in a car with him now).

Also, I was thinking she more or less inserted herself into the group sort of like Ed from Beebop. "Oh hey, I've heard of you guys. Why dont ya let me join up. I'm pretty good with tech as you can see by how I've hijacked all your phones and computers." Something along those lines lol.

OK, cool cool. and no worries, I fucked up the first time and thought it would alert you as I edited it but we cool~
Also tbh, odette would honestly have a knee jerk reaction akin to if she feared something and wanted it gone; by leveling a rifle at Viv's head haha
I think that would usually set the pace for their relationship, Viv's screeching off about something or other and Odette is just pulled back and like "what."

but actually, how passionate is Viv about the reptile aliens? Does she have like panic attacks about them? Can she be plaBy which I mean, say Viv starts to get really ansty about the reptiles and Odette just calmly applies hard logic like: "What if they're here?!" and Odette is like "We are in Alaska, the reptiles are cold-blooded. They'd drop into hibernation."

@baman begins she would be very passionate about her mission. But she wouldnt be having panic attacks over the reptilian menace every two seconds lol. She knows she cant lose her head or she'll wind up being sacrificed to moloch or some shit.

I think you and Candi may be getting the mistaken impression that she's a nervous wreak who's all to easy to push over the edge lol. But she's a high functioning wreck lmao.

Anyway, let me clarify for you. The character I have in mind is "slightly paranoid" not full on shivering in a corner and looking cross ways at every squirrel who happens by cause they might be an agent of the enemy paranoid lmao. She wont be freaking out on everyone like a total sperg all the time. She just questions everything up to and including whether or not newspapers are made with slow acting nerve toxin that keeps humans stupid. A typical conversation with her might go something like this.

Viv: hey! See that guy over there?

Ode: the one walking the poodle?

Viv: yeah! See how his hairline is all messed up. That's the seam of his human suite man. Fucker doesn't even care to hide it!

Ode: couldn't it just be a bad haircut?

Viv: no way man! He's mocking you! He thinks you're too dumb to wake the fuck up and see the bigger picture! And even if you do, he doesn't think you can do shit about it!

Ode: *sighs* did you get those security cams offline for us yet?

Viv: yeah, like, fifteen minutes ago!

Ode: *backhands viv*

Ah, okay! To be fair, that biography has a very specific vibe going on.

In any case, that makes everything about 10,000 times easier LUL. I'm cool with that, I feel like Odette would just very awkwardly accept that this is her reality once Viv joins. But at the same time, at some point when she has it up to here with all the rowdy children she'll try to shut down Viv's every question with like curt answers before it gets out of hand and she's sucked into the vortex that is Viv.

Viv: Do they hav--
Ode: Yes, they have motion sensors and lasers and yes they run off two different power supplies, no they are not connected to the cloud. No, they have not been lined with anti-phlegm material, I'm sure you'll tell me the benefits regardless of what I say.

The headcanon I'm getting is that Odette and Alex are the only ones with a brain cell within the team and are just surrounded by rowdy kids, one of which is Viv. If you're totally not feeling the vibe, feel free to shoot it down~

*sighs* well I guess you can build whatever expectations you'd like then. But if my character ends up not fitting your head canon I do hope you wont hold it against me.

Name: Ryder Rowe

Age: 27

Gender: Male

Role: Hitter

Sexuality: Asexual

Personality [+] Resourceful - Years of fighting with nothing but what you could find nearby, Ryder has an uncanny ability to turn just about anything into a weapon. Even the motorcycle helmet he wears, has been used to bash in someone's skull.

Realistic - Ryder is not someone who will sugarcoat things. Sure, this means he might be a bit rude or somber, but when he says something like "You got this." Or something similar, you know he has faith in you.

Fearless - Having seen his fair share of gunfights and brawls, Ryder manages a cool head while in the midst of combat. The hails of gunfire simply a song and his retaliation a guitar solo. No matter the odds, or number of hostiles, Ryder's gonna face them head on, intent on dwindling that number.

[=] Odd Knowledge - Ryder knows some pretty odd facts. Such as who starred as the stunt double for actors in movies, behind the scenes stuff, or just fun facts in general. Be careful what you wish for though, or you're gonna need some Ibeprofen.

Casual - When one thinks of a mercenary and former bank robber, someone who listens to music and watch old movies while wearing a shirt with something about a man's bizare adventures that has the same starting letters in both first and last name. Ryder when not on a job, likes to sit back and unwind from beating someone to death with a lamp.

Neutral - Being a mercenary hired for whatever purpose has kinda made Ryder a neutral person regarding morales, just going with whatever his employer asks of him, and what the job demands. He won't stoop to levels of psychopaths like firebombing an orphanage, but he isn't going to tote about with a "Oh I have an honor code" attitude.

[-] Sarcastic - Be it taking the piss out of someone, or trying to create some minor banter amongst the others, do expect Ryder to have some sort of witty remark to whip out.

Restless - Ryder can't sit still and do nothing for long. TV will only distract for so long, and his phone is rarely used beyond calls and texts. So he'll twiddle his thumbs, tap his foot, pace around a room or take walks in the middle of the night with no headsup.

Short-Tempered - Ryder's temper is a short fused one, easily lit by small things or major things. But when it happens, expect a lot of yelling and mocking. And punching. Maybe some stabbing added on.

Biography Ryder Rowe was born to Marcus and Oivia Rowe, two infamous bank robbers that unfortunately died from a set up by their employer, their deaths going down as tragic accidents. And poor Ryder was given to close friends of the Rowe's. Who were also bank robbers, damn good ones.

Sarge, Mako, Fox and Nevil were their alias, each were former special forces turned criminals when they realized that crime paid a lot more than anything else. And they taught Ryder the tools of the trade, how to fight with knives, fists and guns. How to handle himself in a heist, and martial arts. With Mako providing that training, making Ryder into quite the formiddable foe in close quarters, and after performing within their standards, they did their first heist, and even though Ryder took a bullet to the leg, missing his bone and just going through meat. It was a success, Ryder taking care of anyone who got too close for comfort with extreme force and creativity. And he was about to turn eighteen, what a nice childhood.

From there on, he slowly grew into the bruiser of the heist crew, using his fast and light frame to rapidly assault foes and minimize threat to comrades, and their career was long and fruitful. Until the crew got too careless, and a Swat team took them down. Save for Ryder, who barely made it out alive. Without them there to guide him, he went out on his own into the criminal world.

Becoming a mercanary for hire, taking on whatever jobs that needed his skills. Teaming up with weirdos, professionals and many ametuers, with varying levels of success. Or just solo jobs, escorting someone, or as a Field Cleaner. Which was talk for "We need you to go in, kill everyone sans anyone we tell you not to." Which was used on rival criminal organizations.

All of this earning him a decent rep, and buttloads of money. Money he spent on simple stuff. A series of houses that serve as safehouses in the event of shit hitting the fan, guns, ammo, tools to customize said guns, and then knives. Whatever a mercenary would need to have a long career and hopefully longer life. Now it seems he was about to join a new crew through means he would not normally find conventional.

Likes: Pizza, Knives, Brass Knuckles, and his shows

Dislikes: Pineapple and Ham on Pizza, Overly complicated plans, backstabs, heists going awry, and people touching his stuff.

Fears: Spiders, airplanes, sharks, drowning and being backstabbed.

And here be your Hitter. Don't judge too harshly.

Would it be possible to put a hold on the hacker? I have part of the cs filled out but I have to go to bed soon....

Face!
Name: Melione "Meli" Alexander
Age: 29
Gender: Female
Role: Hacker
Sexuality: Demi-Sexual
Personality: While Meli would rather speak behind a message board or over text messages because it gives her time to assess the situation she is witty and upon occassion brutally and horrifyingly critical of both herself and others. Meli is smart as a whip and will use this to her advantage at any given point. Due to her past and upbringing, Meli is loyal to a fault and will often do anything in her power to keep those she accepts as family safe. She is a terrible liar and an even worse shot.

Biography Hacker Name: Nuuwa was born to an unassuming lower middle class family just outside the red-light district of the inner city. She was a bright girl but the 4th of 5 children with another baby on the way. Her mother, try as she might to keep the rugrats under control rarely had such a miracle in the tiny three bedroom house. The man that Meli called her father was a construction worker and was definiately not Meli's biological father. The dark skin and hair compared to her mother's fawn hair and blue eyes and her father's blonde hair and green eyes sort of gave that away. It never seemed to bother Meli's father though and he tended to give her more attention than any of the other kids. She went through most of her life being her fathers daughter, learning everything he could teach her and devouring any new information.

Eventually he ran out of things to teach her and had to turn to just giving her books to read. Meli read at every chance she could get until she was 14. At that point in time she was expected to help out more around the house. Her older siblings were starting to make their own way in the world and there were less people in the house. At 16 disaster struck the little family. Her mother fell pregnant again and when the infant was born it was dead. It was also not the child of Meli's father. Distraught he went on a bender and left the house for a month. When he came back he was different. Meli didn't quite understand but she knew enough that the reek of booze didn't cover up the sickly sweet smell of drugs.

He was different after that, violent and unpredictable. At one point he beat her mother into a short coma. After that Meli made it a point to stay out as late as possible to avoid seeing her father while he was awake. Since they were so close to the red-light district, Meli had learned how to do a number of things before her 16th birthday. Pickpocketing was her favourite, gave her such a thrill when she was almost caught. This caught the attention of someone else though, a local gang leader by the name of Krow. He was an ugly fat man who had no business running a gang. Meli was brought in by another boy, a kid named Garrot. Krow saw Meli's intelligence and while she was still too young to make him money with her body (even he had standards when dealing with prostitution) she could learn to hack. He set her with their hacker, an older woman by the name of Ghost.

Meli was nearly a natural. She picked up everything that Ghost taught her and twisted it to suit her needs. Ghost was impressed and set her up with her own little work station. After all two hackers could hack twice as fast as one. However, Meli was still unexperienced and made a fatal flaw. After hacking into a rival gang she forgot to back trace herself to make sure that they didn't have a hacker who could follow her.

A couple days later Krow's gang was destroyed. The only thing that saved Meli was that she managed to slip between the walls and remain undetected. For a few years after that Meli refused to hack more than a few times a week to stay below anyone's radar, changing her name and wiping her system entirely once she was done, paranoia that the gang would find her kept her on the run. Her family thinks that she died with the raid on Krow's gang and she'd rather keep it that way. Eventually, her paranoia left her and she set up a small board for those needing help under the name of Nuuwa, a goddess of death and reclamation. From her set-up she could get information on nearly anyone. It was after a few questions about a woman named Odette that she looked into the small group.

Likes: Small spaces, foggy weather, autumn, comfortable clothes, white noise.
Dislikes: Overheating (either her or her computers), bitter/sour foods,
Fears: Leaving things unfinished, being alone for the rest of her life, going blind.

@baman begins
Nuuwa is just her screen name. She liked how nüwa looked but didn't want to deal with the special letter and then later found out about the meaning of Nüwa. But yeah she just deals in information and will occassionally hunt it down herself in person.

Lurking the thread I get the impression that it's full but the rookie is still open on the 1st page. Is that spot still available? I've been meaning to scratch a certain itch.

Name: Onyx Nakamura
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Role: Rookie
Sexuality: Heterosexual

Personality
Bark without Bite - He's cocky, and a wannabe cool guy, sure of himself when the situation is to his benefit but when the situation turns against him and he's uncomfortable will find that he's quiet and submissive. In situations of friends and family he will rise back and be aggressive but ultimately will blink first.

Wannabe - He prides himself on his brands and clothes, dresses flashy, and is a try hard wanting to be like cooler characters and idolizes Spike Spiegel from Cowboy Bebop. Hoodies, jeans, shoes that cost more than your cell phone, and old Bruce Lee movies. Even though his name is Japanese, he's more average white American although he dramatically plays up his Japanese heritage.

Compassionate Cool - He'll deny it endlessly but Onyx has a strong soft spot for children, especially boys, and will go out of his way to help them and do his best to play it off as just something he happened to have time for.

Insecure Machismo - He's straight and will let you know about it, that guy and the other guy too. He avoids looking gay at all costs even when it causes more pain and makes sure people are aware of his manhood by talking up girls and other overly manly things even at the cost of his dignity.

Suckerpunch - Not much in a straight fight, he prefers jumping people whether figuratively or literally, and will quickly run if the tide turns against him. He doesn't mind getting into a straight fight as long as the numbers are exceedingly in his favor.

Runaway - Both literally and figuratively, he's a fast runner and calisthenics enthusiast while enjoying parkour and tends to avoid discomfort, running away from his problems.

Amateur mechanic - It's 75/25 whether he's doing something that is helping/doing nothing or just flat out damaging his car but he still likes trying to make his car that much faster.

Hotrod - An acceptable driver, but considers himself much more. He likes flashy cars and dreams of flash cars.

Low Level Dealer -‌‌ In his senior year in high school he transitioned from selling chips and candy to selling more illicit items on campus and still does on the side, anything to make some extra scratch.

Biography
Onyx didn't have a bad childhood, sure he grew up with his American mom after his father died but it could have been worse. She worked a lot and left him with a lot of time on his hands and those hands got onto cars, fashion, bling, and a high life reserved for 1% that the rest simply dream about. School was uneventful and he went through the motions, wanting to pretend he was bigger than he was while wearing thriftstore clothes and getting shot down by the 'hot girls' that wanted guys to buy their attention. With time on his hands, the high life was all he ever thought about and he could talk about how much horsepower the latest Lambo had or yak about how Drake was overrated but it wasn't until he turned 16 and got a job that he realized that getting to that lifestyle wasn't going to work.

He worked at a liquor store as a clerk. He couldn't work the register but he worked the back and cleaned and tidied for minimum wage and he still remembers just how pissed off he felt when he got his first paycheck and couldn't even afford the latest kicks he wanted and realized he had the potential to make more doing odd jobs like selling chips at school even though it was banned. On his third week the manager had to use the restroom and basically forced him to run the cashier for a second and it was in those few minutes the store got robbed. A single man stormed in with a black hoodie up and a skimask on and shoved a gun into his face. Onyx lost all control in that moment as a puddle formed at his feet, shuddering and stammering as the man screamed for money. He opened the drawer and poured it away and in that moment he saw a cascade of green bills and coins, easily twice if not three times what He'd made in his two weeks and that guy just needed a minute to do it.

The man was gone in a flash and the manager snuck out of the bathroom after it was over and hit the alarm. Onyx realized that he only had one way to make the kind of life he wanted and he moved towards a different kind of hustling and soon money started becoming more available. His mom was caring and tried to take care of him but there was only so much time in the day as she was going from job to job while still trying to handle the needs at home. She just couldn't keep up with the time he had on his hands. He loved her though and wanted to provide the way his father couldn't and one day when he offered her a stack of five grand to help out around the house, she blew up at him, there was a fight, she went through his room and found where he hid his stash, and in a flash he was gone from the house, teary eyed, heart broken, and determined to make a life for himself and his mom too even if she didn't want him to.

He got into contact with his supplier and asked if there was anything else he could do to make more money and he tumbled down the rabbit hole, doing a couple stints as a low level enforcer for small time loan sharks, and a couple jobs as part of a small level hit on other liquor stores and small establishments which he particularly as it put him into the position of power over the clerk and turned the table from his memory. Eventually he came into contact with a crew with… higher ambitions.
