  • My woman of fire; My mate [FxM | Fantasy, Orc Tribe, HumanxOrc, Soft Fantasy Romance, Destined Mates]
Orcs are feared throughout the land. They are huge brutes and force to be reckoned with. MC knew as much, but she felt like most rumours and stories were exaggerated. Sure, they were huge and scary and could quite frankly level a village if so they pleased, but they surely weren't all mindless beasts. Right? Well, she would soon learn after she may have gotten herself into quite a mess and found herself in the middle of an orc settlement, staring up at YC, the chief and their leader. Little did she know that her fate was sealed from the moment the chief laid eyes on her.
  • "What the fuck is a puck bunny?" [FxM | Modern, College/University, Romance, "enemies" to frenemies to lovers?]
YC is a hockey player, the star of the UNI's team and a future NHL player. Cocky, smug with a big head and an even bigger ego- but why wouldn't he be all those things? He is *just* that good. Except when he lays eyes on MC and from there on everything just kinda goes downhill... Because she has no fucking clue who he is, nor about why hockey is such a big deal.
  • "Save a bike, ride a biker, or whatever." [FxM | Modern, Romance, Fluff, Maybe comedy.]
MC is a struggling, young single mom who is basically treated like a leper by the other moms, but she really is trying her best. YC is this big bad biker who looks much scarier than he has any right to. YC could be a fellow single parent or just someone who is tickled by the poor gal's struggles.
  • The vampire's maid [ FxM | Fantasy Romance, Not 100% accurate Victorian Era(?) ]
MC was a smart cookie, that much was evident. She was well-read, literate and a pretty young woman. It was just a shame that she clearly had a death wish. Or at least that's what the people in her hometown would say when she took off to look for a job at that cursed old castle that loomed over the town, nestled between mountains. Nobody expected that she would dazzle the bloodsucking lord (YC) of the castle enough to keep her head.
  • The Blacksmith's Daughter [ FxM | Fantasy Romance, Medieval Era, Ambitious girl x Monster ]
MC has always had a knack for working with iron, she was the only child of her father who was drawn to the shop. She adored the heat against her cheek, she didn't even mind when it singed her hair and eyebrows. Always the odd one out, the human girl took her chances and applied to the prestigious Blacksmith's Guild, knowing damn well that they didn't accept humans under normal circumstances, especially not young ladies such as her. And yet, the letter would come and she'd be over the moon. (YC could be either a mentor or a fellow student there)

COD MW2; FarCry5; FarCry3; Spiderman 2; RDR2; Elden Ring; BTD/BTD2; Price of Flesh; Folk Of Air; Days Gone; The bear; Scream; Friday the 13th; Halloween; The Boy. ((Will add more later on, probably))

'...until you draw your last breath, but after that, I shall come for the child.'
Funny how humans demonize the very idea of a devil and the deals one could strike with them. Her half-lidded, violet eyes watched a man cause a scene in the middle of the mall food court. Arms up on the table, the white plastic work in her left hand as she kept on listening to the distraught man.

"The rapture! It's upon us!" the man kept on screaming, waving a book so obviously full of Christian propaganda around, that even their god would surely feel embarrassed. "We have to repent now to save our souls!" he carried on before a security guard with a big belly finally approached him She had trouble deciding what was bigger, his belly or that incredible moustache on his face in all of its greying glory.

The girl would exhale through her nose as her eyes fell back onto the red, scuffed-up tray before her. A paper plate with ketchup soaking through it and some fries would lay before her with some leftover crumbs from her sandwich. Human food was a treat, but she often found herself wondering if most fae could even stomach the sort.

"Cappy! Cappy!" a familiar, cheery voice snapped her out of it. Her violet eyes snapped up to meet his goat-like ones.

"Look, I got some doughnuts!" the boy quipped with a toothy grin, showing off his sharp canines. Cappy smiled back at him before throwing her fork onto the tray.

"Did you get me some?" she'd ask as he took his seat. A mustard-coloured beanie would be snug on his head, his fluffy brown hair sticking out from underneath. It concealed his small horns. Thank god they were small. The human clothes he was wearing looked like something out of a shop's window, not too personalized. His tail would be hidden underneath his clothes, wrapped around his waist.

As Cappy watched him excitedly bounce in his seat and slide the doughnut over onto her tray, a strange feeling of guilt washed over her as her gaze shifted over at the rather big scar on his chin. Her jaw tightened as memories of that night flashed into her mind before something got slammed onto their table. Both of them jumped as the preacher was now at their table, a hand of his smashing into the table.
The security was behind him, struggling to pull him away, huffing and muttering obscenities under his breath.

"There! The messengers of death!! Children of satan!" the man kept on screaming before he was slowly dragged away. Cappy rose from her seat in an instant, huffing as her cheeks went red with the sudden anger. Oh, if only he knew. As much as fury felt justified, it was short-lived as she quickly turned back toward the boy. He looked much more rattled as he anxiously turned her head down and struggled to put the forgotten sunglasses back on to hide away his eyes. Her eyes softened and her shoulders relaxed.

"Hey, Lor," she softly spoke up and reached out to pat his shoulder with a small smile. "he was probably slipped some rotten faerie fruit." she was doing her best to console him, earning a weak smile from the boy. "Let's just eat the doughnuts and head home for today, okay?"

Lor nodded silently and Cappy sat back down. Although he visibly lost his appetite.
The duo would slowly begin leaving the mall as the sun was setting. To anyone else, they most likely looked like college students. The blonde girl with the strange violet eyes, burgundy tank top and mom jeans with a sweater wrapped around her waist and strange boots, then the tan-skinned boy with the sunglasses, mustard-coloured beanie, denim jacket and cargo shorts. He would be wearing some beaten-up skater shoes, the same shade of green as his shirt.

If only they knew, she would often think as they beelined toward the trees. The boy would clutch his messenger bag, full of treats and trinkets they'd bought with acorns and leaves enchanted to look like human money.
Cappy liked these outings, but they made her feel strange more often than not. Her mind would always begin to wander and beg the question of how she would have turned out if she had grown up in this realm. Those questions always went hand in hand with those blurry memories of her mother and it only made her grind her teeth more and more.

Reaching the outskirts of the forest, she would look at Lor expectedly. He was already looking around on the ground, visibly looking for something as he pushed around some leaves and sticks on the ground.
"You know, you can tell me if something's bothering you-" she'd say, making him jump and give her an alarmed look. Those flimsy sunglasses slipped lower on the bridge of his nose, revealing his glowing yellow goat eyes.

"I know," he shot back, turning his gaze back at the ground and resuming his search.

Cappy bit the inside of her cheek and slipped her hands into her pockets. She let his answer marinate for a moment, looking off to the side before she looked back at him again.

"You shouldn't take things like that to heart," she began. "you know... what humans say." she cleared her throat, clarifying.
Lor seemingly found what he was looking for. It almost seemed like he was ignoring her question as he muttered the phrase 'Rise, my noble steed-'. His hand reached up, pulling the beanie off of his head as horses made out of roots rose from the ground, huffing and shaking their heads to get any dirt out of their grassy manes. Their eyes glowed yellow, reminding Cappy of fireflies trapped in a jar.
"Does that include you?" Lor would finally acknowledge her question as he stuffed the beanie and sunglasses into his bag.

Cappy wrinkled her nose, approaching one of the horses and quickly hoisting herself up on top.

"Of course, not. I expect you to take everything I say to heart." she'd grin, watching him hop on his root-stallion, the corner of his mouth turning upward.

"Race to the gates?" was all he'd ask before Cappy scoffed and took off without a warning.

Flying through the forest, she could hear his laughter as he was quick at catching up. Her heart was hammering inside her chest and her violet eyes were staring ahead as these hellish horses galloped through the human woods.

A huge rock would come into view, a faint white line went down the middle of it. The duo seemed like they were going to crash straight into it. Cappy could never bear to watch them pass through it, she closed her eyes tightly shut. All she heard was the loud whooshing of the wind as they'd dash through.

The scents changed too, the air was sweeter and cleaner. When her eyes opened, they were in a more densely wooded area, but soon they ran out of the forest. A relief laugh slipped out of her as they pushed on. Thick grassy fields, the seemingly endless sea over on the horizon, hills and mountains and the large setting sun.

The Meadowmist estate was already in view. Its high walls were familiar to the two of them. It consisted of two buildings, the old charred house which lay on the outskirts of Aeden's land and the new one which he built shortly before taking Cappy under his care.
Having ridden closer to the large gates, they quickly hopped off the horses only to have them sink back into the ground with an ear-piercing whinny. The two of them would creep inside, but Lor was much better at walking softly than Cappy.

The mischievous duo slipped in through the kitchens, avoiding the main entrance. A grumpy goblin by the name of Mandrake paid them no mind as he stirred a pot of soup. The pixie kitchen hand on the other hand did shoot them a disapproving look as they walked through. The scent of cinnamon and the crackling of honeyed chicken skin made Cappy's mouth water more than any kind of mortal junk food ever could. Her hands remained tucked inside her pockets, but Lor was happy to sneakily grab an apple from the bowl before the pixie. She'd screech a little, her inky black teardrop-shaped eyes were aflame with rage.

"Young master I am to peel these apples!" she was seething, her voice like nails on a chalkboard. Cappy snickered under her nose as the goblin chef shot her a dirty look.

"Let the boy eat, Fifi! He's barely skin and bones!" he huffed, shaking his head.

Lor shot them both an apologetic look before taking a bite out of his apple and hurrying out with his free arms hooked into Cappy's.
However, they didn't get too far. A tall, tan-skinned woman with grass-green hair waited for them in the vestibule. Her eyes went from pink to red, her pupils like a snake's.

"Where were you two?" she'd demand, making both of the youths stop in their tracks. Lor's chin was covered in the juices of his apple, he just gave her a wide-eyed look.
"The mall," Cappy replied without missing a beat. The woman's eyes would slip onto her. She furrowed her brows and she let out a deep sigh.

"Capitola, you're more trouble than you're worth. What if they see Lorian's horns?! Or eyes? Or god forbid, his tail?!" she pursed her lips shut as if expecting an answer. Cappy pouted her lower lip, before shrugging.

"He hides them well enough," She could feel Lor's gaze on her, but she didn't look at him. "We are not children, mother Wispa." the way she said the word 'mother' sounded like an insult. It was like she spat venom at the fae woman before them, she winced, biting her tongue. Capitola could see that the fae woman was holding back.

"Go and get changed, both of you," was all she'd say with a deep sigh. "we are to see the king tonight," the woman nearly began to walk off, before Capitola gave her a bewildered look, expecting more of a lecture, but in the end, she was grateful for cutting this short.

The fae couldn't lie, but she could. It was one of her most useful weapons in this realm among her wits and talent for sword fighting. Cappy would find herself inside her room, Lor having departed to his room to prepare for a night full of drinking and dancing.
As soon as the heavy doors opening into the hallway slammed shut behind her, Capitola let out a deep sigh. She always dreaded nights like this, for it was dangerous for a girl like her. A human girl. But then again, after having grown up in these lands, between these walls and studied among the other children of the gentry- one might think that she felt like one of them.
She didn't and she knew that she never would.
Cappy silently stripped off her mortal clothes and folded them neatly, putting them into a suitcase and kicking it under her raised bed until it disappeared in the darkness. The underwear from the human realm was comfortable, it felt much more supportive which was why she fancied it over fae undergarments.
A small, turnip nosed and grey-skinned fae by the name of Koko crept into her room. The tiny thing always moved without making a sound, but Cappy knew to expect her. She'd already be seated in front of her vanity, digging through her jewellery box.

"You get that boy into trouble, says the missus," she said, chuckling eerily as she began to comb back Cappy's blond hair.
"Lor gets into plenty even without my help," Cappy replied without missing a beat, feeling Koko's boney fingers pull on her hair every so often. "he isn't nearly as innocent as he seems." she'd say, finally fishing out a golden pendant, a simple yet meaningful trinket to the girl. On the front, a heart and a swallow are engraved into the metal while on the back a short sentence, 'Hold your head up and never look back,'
One of the only memories of her mother, but Cappy often wondered if she looked back. Her hair would be pulled back in a half-up and half-down style, small intricate braids hanging while some bigger ones came together in a rose-shaped bun on the back of her head.

Dressed in a gown bedazzled with golden embroidery, gems and threads depicting fruits and fauns dancing weighed her skirt down, a slit on the left side, exposing her smooth pale leg. The back of her dress was exposed, golden chains tickled her back, connecting the golden roses stitched onto her shoulders. This may have been too much but among the fae? This was one of the more toned-down gowns. At her hip, a silver sword hung, oak leaves adorning its hilt and on her bodice a crest depicting a swallow and the sun, Aeden Meadowmist's family crest. Her father.
Slipping on some rings, putting on some earrings from the mortal realm and hiding away a dagger in her boot, she descended downstairs. The woman from earlier, Wispa was already there, fussing over Lorian's hair. Among them, a man similar to Wispa stood, except taller. His face was badly scarred, hair like scorched grass, skin almost like treebark… And his eyes? Violet, just like hers. It was like a cruel reminder that she was his. His creature, his daughter, his successor. Her mouth curled ever so slightly as she took a deep breath and carried on, approaching them. Lor perked up at the sight of her, grinning.

"Looking good, cousin." he'd wink at her. Cappy was quick to grin back at him, arching a brow. Lor looked uncomfortable in his cricket green outfit, the neckline visibly making him antsy as he kept pulling it away from his neck. Capitola was glad that her cousin was the least like most of the fae children she had to endure growing up in these lands. He was kind, her best friend in the whole wide world and her partner in crime.
"We all look good," Wispa was quick to hiss through her teeth, smacking Lor's hand away. "Quit it-" she shot him a stern look.
Cappy kept her eyes on them, but she could feel his eyes on her. She slowly turned to face him only to be met with that faint ghost of a smile on his face.
"You look beautiful, dear," he said, his garb looking more like armour from the amount of embroidery on it. Capitola merely bowed her head.
"Thank you, father," she muttered.

The ride to the Divine Garden Hall didn't take too long. This small family would enjoy their ride in a woven carriage, eating various kinds of cheese, bread and fruit while they travelled. They would chat idly as any ordinary family would during their meals. The talk came to the midsummer tournament, Wispa would once again begin fussing about how Lor was too soft to attend and how Capitola should take part in more feminine hobbies, and then Capitola would instead talk politics with Aeden much to her aunt's, Wispa's disappointment.
Eventually, it switched to gossip about the courts attending this ball.
The carriage would come to a halt smoothly. They were quick to pile out of it and wait for Aeden to announce their arrival. Capitola could hear a voice yell 'Royal General Lord Aeden Meadowmist and his family!' before they were finally allowed inside. Lor would playfully hook his arm into Cappy's, making her grin and giggle as they hurried inside.
Capitola's violet eyes widened as they slipped in, the beauty of the Garden Hall estate never ceasing to amaze her.
