All Umbra Rules apply. Additionally:

1. Don't be a dick.
2. One character per player limit.
3. No writing for characters other than your own.
4. One post per day maximum per player. This is not designed to be a fast-paced thread, and realistically I expect weekly posts from participants: this limit is in place so that the group thread is not overwhelmed by quicker-than-everyone-else individuals.
5. Dropping out due to real life is totally fine. This is for fun! If a player needs to step away, it is easily covered in thread by their character either isolating in their room or dropping out of the program -- for anyone playing a canon character, I would NPC play in their absence.
6. No sexual actions in the main thread. Flirting and general affections are allowed but please take steamy stuff to a separate thread kthx.

Rules to be updated and revised on a need-to-be basis. Seriously guys, it's not that hard to be decent to each other, but if I have to spell it out in finer detail I will. Don't be that asshat that makes a new rule necessary.

We're up to four players! Three canon and one OC.

Would really like to get another sinner or two before we get the ball rolling~ I'll give it a few days and then get the IC thread going, regardless of whether we have more players or not. Thankfully the dynamic of the story allows for sinners to wander in whenever suits so we wouldn't be closed off to interest ♥

So... Canon characters are a little different. As a sinner, Alastor would fit the above character sheet format - although I don't think we can fill out the Soul Contract portion of it for him (even if decided upon, I think that information should remain exclusive to Alastor's writer) - but as Charlie and Lucifer never lived on Earth their basic information points would differ substantially.

Voting time! Should canon characters be required to submit customized character sheets? Sure, they'd be pretty: but as they already have established stats/history it kind of feels like handing out homework. Thoughts?

I feel like that homework would be easy to fill out if decided upon. It could be helpful if someone joins and they just started getting into Hazbin Hotel, so they don't know the characters well, then being able to look at a canon character sheet could help them.. if that makes sense.

I agree, I also think it might be helpful in terms of establishing a consistent "canon" within universe. Some things like, maybe establishing what's up with Lilith (at least at an interpersonal level) might be important for at least Lucifer and Charlie to be in the same page about. I'm sure there are other things that might be good to just set in stone before things get rolling, and filling out a character sheet might help target those sorts of things. This obviously isn't necessary, but I think it could be helpful.

It's settled then! Character sheets all around, regardless of whether a player's character is canon or OC.

Kris and CafeCat can just go ahead and use the Sinner character sheet listed above -- for Alastor, don't feel obligated to disclose the Soul Owner. (That is something I'd like to discuss behind the scenes in PMs at some point, as it is undoubtedly significant to the larger story~) ...Also not sure how much Alastor backstory you're familiar with from outside of the show (even I haven't read all the comics, but I've been exposed to a lot of information from the social media groups I'm apart of), but it's probably worth mentioning that Alastor was a serial killer in his life and that he is half Creole. Oh, and killed by a hunter that mistook him for a deer (I assume he was out burying a victim's body in the wilderness but I can't say I know the finer details on that point). Think that's all the important stuff that didn't appear within the show itself but is considered established canon. Always happy to discuss further if you want someone to bounce thoughts or muse with~ (I can talk about Alastor for days ♥)

I'll try to get a character sheet put together for Charlie soon. phantom, I assume you'd be good to use the same format as myself but as Lucifer is a being unlike any other know that you have full creative liberties to add or omit points as you see fit. As for the Lilith mention: my own personal musings are that (being she simply disappeared) Lucifer shouldered the burden of his and Charlie's abandonment. Charlie seems to think her mom is off doing something important -- and if Lilith left without a word to either her husband or daughter, who would have told Charlie that? The King of Hell, of course, protecting his daughter from the pain of the truth. Always happy to discuss their estranged relationship in deeper detail or otherwise talk about Lucifer in general~ (I can talk about him for days, as well ♥)

Charlotte "Charlie" Morningstar​ Princess of Hell

Demon Type: Hellborn Gender/Identity: Female Orientation: Bisexual Age: 200 (Approximate) Height: 6' / 183 cm Background: Born to Lilith and Lucifer Morningstar, Charlie has lived a charmed life despite being born to Hell. Inspired by her mother's songs and her father's dreams, the young woman aspires to lead her people into a golden age: she's created a plan in which she will guide sinners to salvation by working with Heaven, rehabilitating souls damned to Hell so that they might cross the pearly gates rather than face extermination at the hands of angels. When her ideas were so callously shut-down by the Seraphim, and her hotel and subjects threatened with destruction and double-death, Charlie took to standing against the angelic onslaught. Thanks to the support of her friends and father - and a small cannibal army - Hell stood victorious against the latest extermination. The selfless death of Sir Pentious proves that her plan can work, as the serpent sinner finds his soul regenerated in Heaven. Once the Princess of Hell hears this news, she is painfully optimistic that other sinners might make such an ascension -- even if Heaven hasn't agreed to such terms, the feat is still possible, and she's hopeful that a new agreement will help facilitate her purpose.
